Things I should Have Done Today
1. Sat down and wrote something, anything, while the rain decided whether or not it was going to pelt my window or just brush it with a light mist. Either way, I’m most creative/productive when it’s raining outside.
2. Laundry. I thought about it all day, but instead of taking the time to just suck it up and do it, I watched Flight of the Conchords instead. I should probably take advantage of having laundry facilities located in my house while I can, because it won’t be long before they’re gone.
3. Bought Studio 60. Instead, I opted for Flight of the Conchords and the first season of Entourage - which I’ve never seen an episode of. I’m not terribly disappointed with the purchases, but Bradley Whitford will be upset with me for not buying his show, and it pains me to let him down like that.
4. Take a nap. While this would have helped my overall well being - as yesterday I was suffering through some very enjoyable food poisoning - a nap should have found its way onto the docket for today. Instead, it’s 11 p.m. and I’m tired but refuse to go to bed.
5. Replied to Woody’s post on facebook. He took the time to find a killer West Wing quote just for me, and I’ve continued to neglect the response he deserves. I’ll do my best to rectify it this week.
So that’s about it. Not much of a post, but then again, there’s only one person who actually knows this blog exists, so no one will lose any sleep over it. I just felt the necessity of writing something today.
